The Last Girl

Four savage murders. Three love stories intertwined.

Two sides to every story. Only one chance to escape.

While in the grocery store parking lot, the last thing Ava could’ve expected was getting tased, cuffed, and shoved into a truck by a dead ringer of the rabbit strangling Lenny from Of Mice and Men.

Once back at his dilapidated farmhouse, he told her how thrilled he was to have found her. He finally had his beloved sister Maggie back right where she belonged.

“I’m not Maggie, you’ve got the wrong person. My name’s Ava. You’ve got the wrong girl, my name isn’t Maggie,” she said, tripping over her words.

Despite her protests, her abductor, now identified as Wes McAdoo of 482 Mallard Lane, refused to believe her. Instead, he kept her hidden away in his isolated home and forced her to play the role of his sister— beating her to a bloody pulp whenever she didn’t play it to perfection.

“The Last Girl” explores the inner depths of a deeply disturbed mind, the complex nature of love, and the extraordinary lengths a person will go when confronted with certain death.
